Why is wool the environmental choice?

Unlike oil, wool is an infinite resource. It will be here as long as there are sheep, and it grows amazingly quickly – at 1cm per day. It is one of the few fibres that does not have to be dug up, or drained or have the host that provides it killed, to be part of the clothing chain.

The best 19 micron New Zealand wool is used in the manufacture of these high quality track pants. Comfortable against the skin, they move with your body in strenuous activities. They'll keep you warm against the coldest southerly and allow your skin to breathe when the sun comes out in our famous "four seasons in one day" weather.

Wind-chill factors in winter on a wet or snowy hillside can be a serious risk to health but when wool gets wet it doesn't become cold against the skin like cotton or synthetic fibres, it swells and holds the heat of your body in, forming a barrier against the cold. Allowing you to get on with the job. Small wonder that wool is still chosen in the manufacture of weather gear for trips to the Antarctic.

Naked Flame NZ wool track pants are the sensible choice for people who spend their working lives outdoors in all elements. Essential kit for mustering, hunting or just daily life, you’ll probably find you live in them! Light, comfortable and extremely warm and breathable, these high quality pants will repay a little consideration when washing with great service.
